An Electric Jeep Is Coming to the Easter Jeep Safari

An Electric Jeep Is Coming to the Easter Jeep Safari

February 12, 2021

Every year, Jeep enjoys bringing the fans of the brand a surprise to the ever-popular event held annually, the Easter Jeep Safari. The event is a place where Jeep owners and lovers come from across the US to show off their favorite car brand and to also challenge the formidable terrain of the Moab area where the event takes place.

In kind, Jeep has year after year always given their biggest fans custom Jeeps to drool over or a glimpse into the future of what the brand will be bringing. 2021 will be no different and Jeep is planning on bringing a battery-electric Jeep concept to show-off.

Jeep is teasing this by releasing a few shots of the body and design of the battery-electric Jeep as well as a full-shot of it cloaked in darkness. It looks enticing and will certainly be interesting to see close and possibly in action. With the Easter Jeep Safari centered around the Jeep’s ability to tackle tough terrain, it will be interesting to see if an electric Jeep can feel that capable to an audience used to such things.

It is not the first time that Jeep has been showcasing the idea of an electric Jeep, but it does bring up the question of how serious Jeep is about pursuing it this time. The previous times, it’s been a fun concept, but many car manufacturers do seem to be concentrating on presenting an electric alternative to their popular models. Jeep has a hybrid Wrangler in 2021 and has plans to install solar charging stations at locations frequently visited by enthusiastic Jeep drivers such as Moab and California’s Rubicon Trail. This does seem to highlight that Jeep is serious of not only providing an electric future for Jeep but ensuring that drivers can still enjoy these vehicles in these popular places.
